Floors that support the way your business runs
In a commercial space, the floor is doing several jobs at once. It has to look clean and professional to customers. It has to stand up to foot traffic, carts, equipment and daily cleaning. It needs to be safe underfoot, and for many businesses it has to resist specific chemicals, from salon dyes and medical disinfectants to oils and degreasers. Bare concrete, VCT tile and worn sealers rarely check all those boxes.
Commercial epoxy and resinous flooring systems are designed for exactly these demands. They create a seamless, sealed surface that's easy to clean, resists stains and chemicals, and can be finished in practically any color, texture or style. In Glendale we install commercial floors for businesses along the Glendale Avenue and Bell Road corridors, near Westgate and the sports and entertainment district, in office and medical parks, and throughout the West Valley.

Choosing the right commercial floor system
There's no single "commercial epoxy" that's right for every business. We look at how your space is used and build a system around it.
Traffic and wear
A boutique showroom and a CrossFit gym get very different kinds of wear. We adjust film thickness, base coat chemistry and topcoat hardness for the level of foot traffic, equipment and impact your floor will see.
Chemical exposure
Clinics use strong disinfectants, salons use dyes and solvents, and auto shops use oils and degreasers. We select topcoats with chemical resistance suited to what will actually touch your floor.
Slip resistance
Wet areas, entries and kitchens need more grip. We can add aggregate to the topcoat or use a flake broadcast to improve traction, balancing safety with how easily the floor can be cleaned.
Look and branding
From sleek solid greys to metallic finishes and custom flake blends in your brand colors, the floor can support the image you want to project. We can also add borders, walkways, logos and directional striping.
Planning around your business hours
For most businesses, the biggest worry about a new floor is downtime. We plan every commercial project with that in mind.
- After-hours and weekend work to keep your doors open during business hours.
- Phased installs that close one section at a time while the rest of the space stays in use.
- Fast-cure systems like polyaspartic topcoats that return areas to service quickly.
- Dust and odor control, including HEPA extraction, containment barriers and low-odor products where appropriate.
- Clear communication with a written schedule and a single point of contact.
Our commercial installation process
Every commercial project begins with a site visit. We measure the space, review the existing floor, check for moisture and note any cracks, joints or damage that need attention. We'll also talk through your operations, schedule and any requirements from your property manager.
On the job, we start with surface preparation. That may include removing existing tile, coatings or adhesive, followed by diamond grinding or shot blasting to create a clean, profiled surface. Cracks, spalls and joints are repaired, and in older buildings we pay special attention to moisture readings, since vapor coming up through the slab is a common cause of coating failures in commercial spaces.
We then install the system: primer or base coat, any decorative layer such as flake or metallic, and one or more topcoats chosen for chemical resistance, UV stability and texture. Where needed, we can install integral cove bases that carry the coating up the wall for easier sanitation. Before handover, we walk the floor with you, review cure times and provide care instructions for your cleaning staff.
Working with property managers: We're used to coordinating with landlords, general contractors and facilities teams. Let us know about access rules, insurance requirements or working-hour restrictions, and we'll plan around them.
Maintenance for commercial floors
Resinous floors are straightforward to maintain. Daily dust mopping and regular cleaning with a pH-neutral cleaner or an auto-scrubber keep the floor looking sharp. Avoid harsh acidic or highly alkaline cleaners unless the system is specified for them. Walk-off mats at entries help reduce grit, which is the main cause of dulling in high-traffic lanes. Over time, high-traffic floors can be refreshed with a new topcoat, extending their life without a full replacement.
Industry-specific considerations
Medical, dental and veterinary clinics
Clinics need floors that can be cleaned and disinfected repeatedly without breaking down. Seamless resinous floors with integral cove bases leave fewer places for dirt and bacteria to collect. We select topcoats that tolerate common disinfectants and recommend low-odor systems and after-hours scheduling to protect patients and staff.
Gyms and fitness studios
Fitness floors take impacts from weights, constant foot traffic and sweat. We often combine a flexible, impact-resistant base with a durable topcoat and leave areas for rubber flooring where heavy lifting happens. Texture is chosen to provide traction for training without making cleaning difficult.
Salons and spas
Hair dyes, chemicals and water can stain and damage many flooring types. A sealed coating resists these exposures and is easy to wipe down between clients. Many salons choose metallic or custom-colored floors to match their brand and create a memorable look.
Restaurants, bars and breweries
Front-of-house floors need to look good and handle spills, while back-of-house floors face grease, hot water and harsh cleaners. These spaces often call for different systems, with heavier-duty, more heat-resistant products in kitchens and wet areas. We'll recommend the right approach for each zone.
Showrooms and retail
In a showroom the floor is part of the display. Bright, reflective finishes make products stand out, and metallic or custom flake floors create a distinctive look. For vehicle showrooms, we choose topcoats that resist tire marks and keep their gloss under bright lighting and window sun.
Offices and lobbies
Modern offices increasingly use coated concrete for a clean, contemporary look that's easier to maintain than carpet. Satin finishes reduce glare under office lighting, and area rugs can soften acoustics in meeting spaces.
Replacing VCT, carpet or worn sealers
Many commercial upgrades start with removing old flooring. Vinyl composition tile needs regular waxing and stripping, carpet traps dirt and stains, and acrylic sealers wear through in traffic lanes. Replacing them with a resinous floor can reduce ongoing maintenance and the costs that come with it. We handle removal, adhesive grinding and surface prep as part of the project so you work with one contractor from start to finish.
What a commercial quote includes
Our commercial proposals spell out the scope in plain language: the square footage of each area, how the existing floor will be removed or prepared, the repairs included, each coating layer and its purpose, any striping, cove base or logo work, and the planned schedule with phases and cure times. We also note any assumptions, such as access hours, power availability and who will move furniture or equipment. That level of detail makes it easier to compare bids, get approval from owners or landlords, and avoid surprises once work begins.
